CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Little Dragons Program - Ages 4-6

The Little Dragons Class is designed for our youngest students who want to learn martial arts.  The students focus on developing listening skills, learning skills, coordination,  concentration, gross-motor development and basic Tang Soo Do techniques through the use of fun games, drills and activities.  Upon graduating from the Little Dragon Program, students can expand their training by continuing in the Mighty Dragon Program.  See our Class Schedule page for more details.

Mighty Dragons - Age 6-7

The Might Dragons program is for Little Dragon students who are preparing to transition into the Traditional Tang Soo Do Youth Class.  This class expands on the Little Dragons curriculum while providing a more challenging experience.  The students will advance beyond the basic techniques already learned.  They will also be introduced to forms and basic self-defense techniques.  Once all of the skills are mastered to a degree of proficiency, the student will be ready to move to the Youth Class.

Youth & Teen Class

The students of the Youth Class learn the techniques and theories of traditional Tang Soo Do.  Through fun and exciting classes, students will develop better confidence, better self-image, respect for themselves and others while strengthening their minds and bodies.  Students focus on martial arts skills while learning about proper self-defense.

Teen & Adult Class

This class is for the mature student who wants to experience the benefits of Tang Soo Do; self-defense, stress relief, physical fitness and improving their self confidence and image.  The Teen & Adult Class is conducted at a higher intensity and level than the Youth Class.  The students in the Teen & Adult Class will focus on techniques, theories and applications of the material being taught.

Ki Gong

Ki Gong is an ancient form of Asian exercise that uses a series of postures, movements, breathing exercises and meditation.  It is a low impact style that uses the entire body.  There are numerous mental, health and physical benefits from practicing Ki Gong.
